B-hive Innovations is seeking an individual to join the Engineering team as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. This exciting role would support our R&D projects that are creating novel technologies for use in UK agriculture.

The role would be based full time in our Lincoln office, with occasional travel around the UK required.

 Electrical Engineer duties and responsibilities

 Most of the Projects combine hardware and software in outdoors/on farm environments, so a broad skillset is required:

·         Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical and electronic products and systems including circuit design.

·         Using engineering software and equipment for computer-aided design and other complex technical tasks.

·         Construction, manufacturing and installation of Electrical and Electronic systems in varied environments including on agricultural vehicles.

·         Maintenance, inspection and system upgrade programmes.

·         Being able to work within strict delivery timelines.

·         Providing quality assurance for ongoing projects

·         Communicating with other B-Hive Teams and professionals.

·         Proven knowledge of engineering design and equipment

·         Ability to design, implement, install and maintain electrical and electronic systems

·         Excellent analytical skills

·         Outstanding communication skills

·         Attention to detail

 Electrical Engineer Qualifications and Skills

·         Bachelor's degree (BEng, BSc) in Electrical and Electronic or similar Engineering subject, or Higher training and experience

·         Experience of providing electronic engineering expertise into product development

·         Ability to build and sustain good working relationships and work closely in teams, with colleagues, managers, customers

·         Understanding and experience of electrical and electronic design

·         Clean UK driving License
